- Einar tells the kids they'll all leave Nome soon. They like it there, but they're in agreement that it's just too darn cold in the winter.
- In the mean time, Einar tries to work as much as possible before the last boat leaves.
- Sig's heard someone say that even God leaves on the last boat out of Nome.
- He doesn't get what it means, but his dad explains that it's just another way of saying winter is rough around there—that's why they're leaving.
- Then Anna asks Einar if he's friends with the bear man.
- Uh-oh… looks like Wolff knows where they live.
