Sample of Challenges & Opportunities

Imagine living with someone for most of your life. You share not only your space and things with that person, but also all the little chores that make up daily life: cooking, cleaning, laundry, bills. Nothing in your life is entirely your own.

Now, imagine that one day you're free. You no longer need to care about another person. You just need to take care of yourself. In the mornings you eat cake instead of eggs. In the afternoons you go on a day trip or see your closest friends. At night you watch whatever you want to watch on TV and then sleep whenever you want. This freedom is what Chopin gets us to feel: that joy of experiencing your own desires without any restraints or concern for another.
