Lines 127-132

"There will I ask of Christ the Lord
  Thus much for him and me:—
Only to live as once on earth
  With Love,—only to be,
As then awhile, forever now
  Together, I and he."

  • When she and her lover approach Jesus, the damsel plans to ask Him directly to let the pair of them live in heaven as they did on Earth: "With Love" (130).
