Josh
- Josh goes to his Dad's office, where his parents are both waiting to question why he was late for school. His parents are suspicious of the time he and Emma spend together, though Josh thinks this is crazy.
- Later on, he sits on a park bench eating ice cream and brooding over how his parents are always way too attentive to him.
- He looks across the street and sees Sydney's card parked in the lot. Sydney gets out of her car and walks across the lot into a comic store.
- He gets nervous and thinks about calling her but doesn't want to tempt fate.
- Or at least that's his excuse.
