Josh
- Josh and Tyson are eating pizza and studying at GoodTimez, the pizza joint that Tyson's dad owns.
- Josh waited for Emma after school—but when he saw her come home, he couldn't bring himself to go see her. So he went to see Tyson instead.
- The guys are talking about history, and how it's confusing to figure out what causes events to happen. Isn't it, though?
- Josh has agreed to help Tyson sanitize the giant ball pit playground in the center of the dining area.
- While they work, Tyson asks him about Sydney—he says he wouldn't want to date her because of the attention, but he likes being friends with somebody who is.
- In return, Josh asks about Kellan, but this is a topic that Tyson doesn't seem willing to discuss. He says that he's not sure about getting back together with her, and that even though he likes her a lot, he doesn't want to hurt her.
- Josh compares this to his own situation: He's supposed to be falling for Sydney and things even seem to be working out well. But in the end, does he want her?
- Josh gets home late and looks in Emma's living room window, where she's asleep on the couch. He has a moment of really missing her, and wishes he were on the couch, too.
