- Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas are still huffing and puffing after the orc squadron who are apparently moving pretty fast.
- Finally, they have to stop. Wanting fresh meat instead of maggoty bread, the orcs want to have some hobbit-flesh. Luckily the uruk-hai aren't having any of it. They think Merry and Pippin have the Ring.
- Suddenly, the orcs are attacked by human horsemen. Just as it seems they might be saved, a horse rises above Pippin and looks like it will stomp him to death… but the scene cuts.
