Protagonist
Character Role Analysis
Winnie-the-Pooh
Pooh is the title character, and a wonderfully endearing dolt of a protagonist. There is only one story (House.5) in which he's not involved in the central action of the episode, and if he's not the one who causes the conflict (as he does when he falls into the Very Deep Pit in Winnie-the-Pooh.5), he's ready with a possible solution (e.g. when he helps Roo out of the water in Winnie-the-Pooh.8).
As discussed in his characterization, Pooh's lack of intelligence doesn't exactly make him an anti-hero, though. His simplicity is a central aspect of his wisdom as a main character. Think Forest Gump but with less running.
