Stress

Lives are in your hands (including your own). That’s going to cause a few breakouts and a clump of hair in your hand in the shower. Luckily, you’re only in the air for 75 hours a month, so you’ll have enough time on solid ground to get all Zen and decompress. But, as a pilot, you spend a lot of time away from home and, when you’re in the air, you have to focus on a whole lot of things to make sure the flight runs smoothly and you get everyone to Dallas or Tokyo safe and sound. You’ll be tense primarily during take-off and landing because they are the most complicated and require your undivided attention. You’ll get a quick breather when you level out in the sky, but you can’t exactly put your feet up and watch Game of Thrones. That’s for the hotel, later.
