Qualifications
After studying for four years to earn a bachelor's degree, you'll need to study even harder for three more years at law school. Yes, you're focusing on the entertainment industry, but when it comes down to it, you need to be just as knowledgeable and experienced as every other lawyer out there. The only difference is that you'll need to pick a school that offers a specialization in entertainment law, like UCLA, USC, Stanford, or NYU (source).
After three years of getting your behind kicked by law school, you should work for a firm that does the kind of work you want to do. You'll start as the associate who knows every partner's coffee order by heart and performs everyone's research. But, with the help of your dedication to writing, brown-nosing, and schmoozing, you'll move up the ranks in no time—or at least, that's the goal.
