Stress
Other than waking up before dawn, your life as a greenskeeper is unlikely to be filled with much stress. Expect lots of driving around on a mower, lots of edging grass, and lots of putting those marker flags into golf holes. Your tasks will be well-defined and relatively straightforward. If you can take orders and work the equipment, you should have plenty of stress-free time to wax philosophical as you drive around in widening concentric circles.
Some stress, however, may come to the fore once a month when bills arrive. Yeah, nine bucks an hour doesn't stretch far come rent time. Or any time, really. You're going to need to really learn to manage that lifestyle if you don't want to fall into a cycle where you can only find stress relief at work.
