Fame
The saddest part of having all that power is knowing that you'll never get famous while using it. History remembers the criminals; rarely does it remember the good guys. Sure, most people have heard the story of Al Capone, Chicagoland gangster extraordinaire, whose criminal empire of the 1920s and '30s was brought down by Eliot Ness and a crack team of IRS Special Agents who were able to prove Capone was collecting income (through extortion, racketeering, prostitution, etc.) and not paying taxes on it.
The trouble is, Eliot Ness was an FBI agent. Do you know who the IRS agents were? Neither do we, even though there was an Oscar-winning movie about them.
Such is the life of the unknown special agent. You'll be working in the shadows of American society, and the shadows are where you'll get most of the appreciation. But at least you and your family will know it was you who took down that horrible Cartel.
