Glory
The glory of a mall cop is all about the performance on the job. You may measure glory in how much loss you can help businesses prevent, or in knowing that you're creating a safe and pleasant atmosphere for shoppers. You may take pride in the glory that comes with being a trusted member of the mall team and in helping folks with their mall-related problems.
There are the people-centered aspects of your job, like helping lost children find mummy and daddy, or assisting someone who's slipped and fallen on one of the small staircases—and hopefully they'll remember how good you were to them when they file the insurance claim.
Then there are the serious moments, when someone comes in looking to do harm, and your calm actions and quick thinking prevent a minor disturbance from becoming a major catastrophe. It's probably not Special Forces-type glory, but it can still be called a job well done.
