Stress
One accident could cost the lives of every single person working in or around a mine on any given day, so the responsibility foisted upon the inspector is pretty heavy.
Other major stress ball-related needs include the stresses on your mind and body. For one, the air in a mine isn't the cleanest or most pleasant aroma. It's also pretty dark, so you may lose all track of time while you're in there. And those cramped quarters are going to be a problem if you suffer from even mild bouts of claustrophobia.
There's also some added stress following any accidents that might occur. Part of the inspector's job is to play investigator, which means putting all of the pieces back together to figure out what happened. That could mean you're spending the next ten months sifting around a collapsed mine, looking for the proverbial needle in the pile of haystack-like rubble. Good luck.
