Glory
Sure there's glory. Any time you're healing the sick or injured, there's glory to be had. But you'll have to keep most of your celebrating to yourself. This job is one that should be performed with a quiet dignity—as much as you can muster, anyway, with your hand up someone's seat warmer.
But no one's going to throw you a parade, and there won't be a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the center of town square to reveal a new statue depicting one of your famous exploits. Thank goodness.
