Power
If you define power as the ability to put others in a position of vulnerability, then…congratulations. You're freakin' Alexander the Great.
You also have the power upon which every member of the medical profession prides himself—the power to heal. You are, to a certain extent, playing God (three nights a week, with a matinee on Sundays). Patients come to you with maladies of varying types, and you send (most of) them out the door with a clean—or cleaner—bill of health and a spring in their step. Or, at the very least, they leave your office walking normally for the first time in months.
You also have the power to gross out your entire family at Thanksgiving dinner with just a single "How was your day?" story. It's no wonder Grandma always asks you to be the one to stuff the turkey.
