Odds of Getting In
Your odds of getting into a Yeshiva somewhere are excellent. There aren't a ton of people who are competing for a few spots like in the Ivies. It's not like you need a 4.0 GPA to get in.
Once you've graduated from rabbinical school, you will most likely be placed in a Shul to intern at (and eventually become an assistant or second rabbi at) until you pay your dues and get your own congregation to lead. There are other places you can find work as well, such as schools, hospitals, JCCs, and Rabbis Without Borders.
