Power
Your job is to point a camera where the broadcast director tells you and shoot what you see. You're an instrument, and that's it. But, sometimes, you're an instrument that can change the outcome of a game.
Imagine this: You're filming the final match of the 2006 World Cup. The score is tied between the French and Italian teams, and the game goes into overtime. Suddenly, you focus your camera on Italy's Marco Materazzi, who's lying on the ground. How did he get there?
Turns out that France's Zinedine Zidane headbutted Materazzi in the chest without the game's referee noticing. Alerted by what the cameras were airing, the ref ended up giving Zidane a red card. Italy went on to hit all its kicks in the penalty shootout, and won the World Cup. Zidane never played professional soccer again.
How's that for power?
