Bell Curve
Weekend Guide. Salary: $15,000 or less
Boy Scout Troop 571 is made up mostly of bright, respectful, ready-to-learn kids. Then, there's Timmy, who keeps finding a way to up the annoyance level. Knowing how important proving yourself is, you keep in check your desire to "lose" him in the field.
Co-Leader. Salary: $25,000
Trying to prove your worth, you point out a dark shadow in the trees and begin to describe the life in the forest. Your group leader walks over and shakes the tree, and the big clump of wet leaves you've been pointing at falls out. The sound it makes when it hits the ground is exactly how you feel inside.
First-time Leader. Salary: $35,000
Standing on a cliff's edge seemingly surveying the land, the group builds a silent esteem for you in their hearts. You, on the other hand, are completely lost, and hoping to recognize just one natural landmark.
Domestic Leader. Salary: $45,000
As the temperature dips to the low teens, you begin having the first second thoughts of this adventure. The next time someone tells you that Alaska is the final frontier, you'll be sure to remind them how much you prefer Star Trek instead.
Global Leader. Salary: $60,000
As the group passes a small gang of chimpanzees, you crack a bad joke about being more of a Beatles fan than a Monkees fan. As you turn to go, one of the chimps throws a wad of mud straight into your face. The rest of the chimps start hooting with monkey-laughter. Apparently they disagree.
