Case File: Atlas vs. Perseus
Police Reports
Case Description: Complainant (Atlas) accuses defendant (Perseus) of assault with a deadly weapon. Atlas claims that when he refused to give Perseus shelter, the hero used Medusa's head to turn him to stone (making him what is now known as Mt. Atlas).
Case Status: Case closed. The claim is ridiculous. Perseus was the great grandfather of Heracles, and everybody knows about the conflict that later happened between Atlas and Heracles. The case of Atlas vs. Heracles could never have happened if Atlas had been turned to stone years earlier. Also, how could a mountain file a lawsuit anyway?
