- Zombie is freaking out. Should he shoot Ringer? Ringer tries to talk him through it. She tells him to pause and think it through.
- He's still confused, so she spells it out: the green glow has nothing to do with infestation. It just indicates the person doesn't have an implant.
- Zombie doesn't think that make sense. Ringer says it does make sense. He just can't admit the truth to himself.
- He's still not getting it. Ringer says: get with it. We're the fifth wave. The commander has been lying to them.
- Zombie is horrified.
