A-G Certified Courses

We aim to make learning fun and accessible—and certified, to boot. Shmoop has been granted a-g certification for over 35 of our Common Core-aligned courses.

That means these courses will now be honored as part of the requirements for admission into the University of California system. 

Shmoop aims to please students and teachers alike, and the a-g certification is an official reminder that learning doesn't have to be blah; our courses can engage students while still meeting the rigorous college readiness standards expected by California's higher education system. Common Core and Smarter Balanced California
