Qualifications
A four-year degree is required to determine whether others deserve one too. Beyond that, college admissions officers come from all walks of life and possess diverse backgrounds.
The ability to match up your school's needs with a candidate will serve you well, and being personable and persuasive won't hurt either.
You'll need a driver's license and a solid GPS to navigate the back roads as you drive from one obscure high school to another.
You'll also have to be persistent and a hard worker, especially when it comes to reading applications—and the ability to function on very little sleep will come in handy, too.
