Glory
When talking beekeeping, the "glory" comes from working with the bees themselves. Being able to get a swarm from one place to another so that these ancient, useful creatures can make the world a sweeter place? That has to feel glorious.
There's a lot of pride within the community of beekeepers, and not a whole lot of spiteful competition. Whether you're the guy with one successful backyard hive, twenty commercial hives, or are simply the one that Animal Control calls any time more than a hundred bees have been spotted on the same branch, the glory is in the work itself.
So while you're unlikely going to feel the glory of, say, an Olympic athlete or an Oscar winner, your flavor of glory is more personal, and perhaps even more satisfying and long-lasting.
