Stress
Oddly enough, bees are supposedly a great reliever of stress. We guess there's just something about that low droning hum of a bee bunch that calms a human's central nervous system. At the very least, they appear very sensitive to the way people behave around them. Are they telepathic? Hard to say; the bees aren't talking.
The calming sensation of being around bees aside, beekeeping is probably pretty low on the stress-o-meter. Once you've become accustomed to dealing with bees on a daily basis, the only major stress you'll deal with is whether or not your honey will sell or your product will flee. In other words, pretty standard stuff for the self-employed.
