Physical Danger
Physical danger for a corporate events manager is slight. There's a possibility that you'll help pitch in with the caterers, only to pitch out your back trying to heft a box of Vienna sausages because you forgot to lift with your legs. Otherwise, this is basically an office job where the biggest danger is getting your tie caught in the ceiling fan (we don't want to know how you did that, but it must have been a sweet party).
There's the potential for a lot of travel as an events manager, so the dangers inherent in the world of planes, trains, and automobiles will exist. On the whole, though, you won't face much danger. It's not the most action-packed profession in the world—but even though you won't be climbing any mountains, the sheer stress of it all might make you feel like you did.
