While it isn't terribly likely that you'll have to dodge paparazzi, there are a few human resources awards a corporate relocation specialist might win. There are also some neat little perks that come as an added bonus.
For instance, after winning an award for excellence in recruiting or talent management, you may find yourself right on the front of the company newsletter. That'll occupy some sweet fridge real estate. If you continue to win awards, you could be the lucky relocation specialist asked to be keynote speaker at the next year's conference, providing tips, shortcuts, and the occasional droll anecdote.
Seriously, though, this is not the career path you'll want to choose if you're looking to grace the gossip rags. At a corporate office, you're just another person doing their job, helping the company to reach its bottom line. Take solace in the fact that you'll be helping make peoples' lives easier, even if in a very specific way.
