You just graduated from law school. You can finally put that shiny, brand-new J.D. at the end of your name. You pass your business cards around. Eventually, someone will hire you, an intelligent, highly educated young buck like yourself! But hold on. Weeks are turning into months, months into years. And still no awesome corporate job. Turns out tobacco companies aren’t knocking down doors to hire young, inexperienced lawyer-saplings. Everyone wants these jobs, and when everyone wants something, most people wind up sorely disappointed. In other words, though lawyers for tobacco companies are making serious bank, it’s not a career to bank on until you’re actually there.
