Things Unsaid
- The following Monday, Noah and Paul are being all cute couple-ish at school, which is why Paul walks into French class happy.
- Joni's in the same class, and she asks Paul if he had a good weekend, but what she actually wants to talk about is the fact that she spent the weekend with Chuck.
- Their teacher, Ms. Kaplansky, walks in, so they have to communicate in notes.
- Joni says she and Chuck played miniature golf and they went to a restaurant where Chuck unsuccessfully tried to order them drinks. And Ted is stalking them.
- Paul, thinking of Kyle, says maybe Ted's hurt.
- After school, Paul goes to the chemistry lab to meet Kyle.
- Kyle has more apologies. He broke up with Paul because he was conflicted about his sexuality—he still is, and he asks Paul for help. He thinks he's bisexual.
- Paul says it's no big deal, but to Kyle it is—he wants to pick one.
- Needing comfort, Kyle hugs Paul… and Paul finds it uncomfortable how comfortable it is.
