- Nudge is pretty shaken up from her run-in with the Erasers. She can't get over seeing Ari, and hearing that all the other members of the flock are dead. It's all quite traumatizing.
- Fang shows up with some kabobs, which they eat with relish because they are hungry and kabobs are amazing.
- As they sit there and talk about what they can and cannot believe, they see some big creatures flying toward them.
- As the figures approach, they realize that it's Iggy and the Gasman. Yay. They aren't dead after all.
