Though the chances of getting famous as a highway maintenance worker are close to nil, you may get lucky. Who knows, maybe you'll be responsible for rescuing a celebrity's car from the side of the road.
Perhaps you'll be profiled for a new reality TV series that focuses on jobs most people don't know much about. Maybe you're just so good at hanging those green metal signs that your local newspaper will come do a story on you and your team.
Even though none of that is likely to come to pass, you should take solace in knowing that what you're doing helps to keep the country both safe and functional. Also, it's kinda cool that you're responsible for making sure the famous people's tour buses can actually get from point A to point B. That counts for something, right?
