Glory
Let's face it: you're planning on making a bajillion dollars by sucking liquefied fossils out of the earth; fossils that, once burned, leave a thick layer of chemical exhaust that contributes to the destruction of the planet's ozone layer. "Helping people" probably isn't the first thing on your list of priorities.
No, glory as an oil tycoon is another one of those things you basically decide for yourself. You're playing a high-risk, high-reward game with a massive amount of the world's wealth and resources. Once you have all that money, you can spend it in whatever way makes you feel most glorious.
Maybe that means funding charities that confront the biggest problems (pollution from oil notwithstanding, of course), or maybe that means buying a fleet of cars and private jets.
It's up to you to decide what glory means to you and whether you want to pursue it.
