Character Analysis
Lady Arthur, Lady Brooks, Lady Towers and the Countess are four gentlewomen from Bedfordshire who, having heard rumors of Pamela's extreme beauty and excellence, come to check her out while she's still a servant.
Lady Brooks and Lady Towers aren't particularly civil during that early visit, and Pamela isn't super thrilled to be their zoo animal. However, later, Pamela makes friends with Lady Arthur, Lady Brooks, and Lady Towers.
