Character Analysis
Widow Lady Jones is a widow (surprise), lives near the Lincolnshire estate, and she is a friend of Mr. B's. She is one of the people to whom Mr. Williams appeals for help when Pamela is initially trying to escape Mr. B, but she declines because she "don't care to make herself Enemies" (42.7). Way to be a coward, Lady Jones.
Later, when circumstances between Mr. B and Pamela change, she becomes a friend to Pamela.
