Flora and Ulysses Chapter 6 Summary

In the Event of a Seizure

  • Mrs. Tickham and Flora can hardly believe it: The squirrel is alive after being vacuumed up.
  • Flora is proud of herself for helping the guy, but more than that, she's pleased with herself for being prepared. She's mentally patting herself on the back when Mrs. Tickham bursts out laughing.
  • What's so funny? Flora doesn't get the joke, and figures Mrs. Tickham is having some kind of fit.
  • Now if only there was an article on that in Terrible Things Can Happen to You! Then Flora could help.
  • She remembers you're supposed to move the tongue out of the way if someone is having a seizure, so deciding that's what this is, Flora starts looking for a stick.
