How do you use Shmoop?

My students love the videos and summaries of the things we read in class. We use Essay Lab and all the free features. We have also used the review for the AP tests and SAT/ACT. I also like the words for vocabulary!

What's your favorite Shmoop product and why?

I like the test prep because it is a refreshing way to do the same things in a fresh and fun way!

What is the coolest experience you've had using Shmoop?

Doing an analysis essay and using Shmoop resources, a student said he had a sudden epiphany and it was a direct consequence of using the Shmoop resources. You gotta love that!

What songs do you know all of the lyrics to?

I know all the lyrics to Dave Matthews' "Grey Street" and Counting Crows' "Round Here."

… I am a "lifer"... 37 years and still going strong. I want to make it to 50! I guess the validation I get each year from students is the best award a teacher could get.
